I had a fantastic stay at this cottage. The thoughtful provision of essentials like handsoap, extra toilet paper, and fresh milk was greatly appreciated. The selection of cooking utensils available exceeded my expectations, and I didn't even need to bring my own. The cottage was also well-equipped with child-friendly games, making it perfect for families. The information about local places to visit was exceptional and easy to follow. The beautiful location, with its stunning views over the fields, provided a peaceful and picturesque setting. The walks in the surrounding area were enjoyable, and there was plenty of tourist information available to plan day trips. The hosts were great, making me feel welcome and ensuring I had everything I needed. I would definitely choose this cottage again if I return to Yorkshire.
Nothing, all excellent.

The kitchen at Curlew Cottage is seriously amazing. It's got everything you need to cook up a storm and I felt like a master chef in there!
Honestly, I wasn't a fan of the shower-only bathroom. It's just a personal preference though, I know some people love showers!

The decoration of the cottage was absolutely charming, with a cozy and homely feel. The living area had comfortable seating and beautiful décor, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the cottage had easy accessibility, with well-lit pathways and handrails where necessary. It made me feel secure and confident moving around the property.
It would have been even better if there were handrails in the bathroom to assist senior guests with mobility issues.

The cottage was well equipped with modern amenities and finished to a high standard. the cleanliness was impeccable and the countryside views were absolutely fantastic. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of complimentary homemade scones and jam upon arrival. the location was rural, offering a peaceful and scenic getaway.
The steep staircase posed a challenge for family members with arthritis. the one-way approach road without passing places made it difficult to navigate through oncoming traffic.

I got to share the free WiFi and only see other guests from my own party. The kitchen had a dining area and stovetop, perfect for my non-existent cooking skills. Managed by a professional!
I absolutely loved everything, so no cons, except maybe the fact that I couldn't stay there forever.
